It has always been the image that weddings must be large glamorous and expensive. In the pictures that has been advertised in magazines, books. It looks as if the happy couples are at ease and youthful in the dream of wedded bliss.
What I would like to look at is the small wedding for the bride and groom. In looking at it, I ask the question is to how small could a wedding be, that would still be fun and make the happy couple contented at the prospect. It is my determined view that it could be as small as the couple to wed, and would need no more to say I do at the register and off for a short honeymoon, that is little more than an extended weekend. The wedding can be determined by various factors, some of them would be obvious such as , budget, work or age of the wedding or other factors as having small children, where there may not be the time for a wedding and reception.
Here is a basic plan for a small wedding.
Look at the budget. Determine the cost of a wedding, it might be that even if there is money, the bride and groom want a more casual affair for there special day. In a small budget, it is possible to have your wedding at home or at your parents house. A family member might have the space in there home that will prove more useful. If your wedding is no more than six people in total, which would include the parents or close family friends, a small dinner, might work much better, as the people might know each other and will get more out of having fun than a large concern for a lot of people that do not know each other.
It might be thought that having a small wedding is not expensive enough, when a big one would be impressive. It has to be thought on what people need to get the best of the wedding they have. If you are an older couple, having a big fuss is of no real interest and something more fun and friendly would be best. The advantages of a small wedding, is the standard would be much higher in what you offer your guests. It can be much better in a small wedding as you can be more personal with friends and family, you as a bride and groom, could easily create your own dinner or hire a chef or have a friend to help with the preparation. More personalized invitations, that can be written by hand, the choice of styles in invitations is much more accessible and there is so many varieties of colors to choose from.

Dress on a budget

A second hand or nearly new dress, or a one worn dress is a way to get a bargain gown. Sometimes, although it is quite rare a dress can be made for a client that was not worn, but that is very rare, but can be asked. The best way to start is to go on the internet. A discription and the size with price can be given with the name of the designer.. It is always best to look out and ask about the the quality of the dress. It is wise to ask about stains and damage, so you you know about the quality of the dress. Photos would be a great idea to look at as it can tell you what it looks like. Ask for a discription of any damage, and see if it is possible to repair the garment.
