Have a Hand crank Singer 15, The date of Manufature is 1920. Its a very basic machine, it does not even have a reverse stitch. It does have a more modern bobbin and is not a shuttle machine. The best point about the 15 is that it can sew denim, which makes it a interesting to see what it can sew. It does not even have a zigzag. It can be attached to a treadle, and most possible a moterised unit. I do think it can work with the same amount of speed as a hand crank. It would work work well in tailoring, tailoring requires a lot of hand work, so this would fit in very well. This is the bobbin winder for the machine
