Buttonhole attachment (Pilot)

Found abuttonhole attachment that I had for a few years that I never used as, the sewing machines I had, would not go on a stitch as the back of the lever would bump the back. Somebuttonholers are not able to be used. When I got the 306k, it fitted well and made an interesting buttonhole.

The Singer 306k is really a great machine, it has a zig zag application and can make a good butttonhole. It came in three colours, Black, light green, mint and this brown clour. The brown colour was not a popular colour for some reason. over all it works well and the mechanismns are not to complecated

This sewing machine is called a Diplomat. Its a brand I do not know very well, I suspect that it may have originated from India, I think that it was made during the sixties and was most likly a version of the Janome label. There is something interesting, why I think it may have come from India, is that it has a very long stitch length, up to stitch length four. This is often the case with machines doing embroidery top stiching , popular in India. Would like to know more about it.
Hi there, Just wanted to write about a sewing machine. The Singer 237 made in Italy, its a great little machine a quite retro in its style of look. It was most likely made in the 1970's. It is a straight stitch and zig zag application. It a a very all round machine, it can sew thicker fabris, although it might struggle with certain types of Denim. Quite cool on a retro level. The Singer 237 Sewing machine, really great retro style.
